With our proprietary BioKleen filter media you will be able to purify between 420 and 700 gallons of biodiesel before changing the filter element. That means every 10 to 17 batches assuming a 40 gallon batch.
What comes with the BioKleen 350 System?
- Custom industrial filter housing with two replacement filter elements. (Elements are easy to replace and very cheap.)
- Built in steel valve system that will adapt to all Freedom Fuelers and expansion tanks.
- 7 pounds of BioKleen Filter media in reusable container.
- Complete instruction manual, although this system is very user friendly.
How long does it take to purify biodiesel?
The quick answer is 1 hour for a 40 gallon batch. Although it may take only 20 minutes. This will depend on the following: The quality of your reaction. The amount of settling time allowed. The cleaner your biodiesel is before purification the less time it will take to purify it.
How much does the BioKleen filter media cost me per gallon?
This will depend on a few factors such as settling time, reaction quality, and the amount of impurities that the system must remove. If you have a good reaction, let your biodiesel settle overnight and don’t use too much excess lye or potassium you should expect your BioKleen to cost you 7¢ per gallon.
How much does the BioKleen system cost?
